East coast weather continues to surprise this winter, with yet another major storm causing school closings, grounded flights, and the shutdown of the federal government in Washington, D.C. Almost 6,000 domestic and international flights have been canceled, with some areas expecting almost a foot and a half of snow.

The storm has spread as far down the coast as North and South Carolina. Fifteen deaths have already been reported, in addition to half a million people without power in Georgia and the Carolinas.
