Democratic Rep. Rush Holt said he wouldn’t seek reelection Tuesday, becoming the 20th House member and ninth Democrat this year to announce he wouldn’t be running again, the Washington Post reported.

Holt, who has been deemed the “biggest nerd in Congress” by Business Insider, joined Congress in 1999.

The moniker is, of course, referring to Holt’s five wins on 'Jeopardy!' and the infamous match between Holt and an IBM super computer named Watson. He beat the computer in a battle of wits in 2011.

“For a variety of reasons, personal and professional, all of them positive and optimistic, the end of this year seems to me to be the right time to step aside and ask the voters to select the next representative," Holt said in a statement reported by CNN.
