The Super Bowl wasn't all fun and games - just beyond the field were dozens of girls involved in child sex trafficking. Law enforcement officials recovered 16 children and arrested more than 45 pimps, some of whom traveled long distances specifically to prostitute women and children at the Super Bowl.

FBI officials say the minors were from ages 13 to 17 years old. Some of them had been reported missing by their families.

"High-profile special events which draw large crowds have become lucrative opportunities for child prostitution criminal enterprises,” Ron Hosko, assistant director of the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division, said in a statement.
