The Best Looks From Milan Fashion Week 2014

From New York to London and now Milan, it has certainly been a month of fashion madness. Thanks to the wonders of the Internet and social media, we can simply catch the wild and chic presentations of Milan Fashion Week from the comforts of our home, the office, or even while running those annoying weekend errands. But with so many designers ranging from household names, such as Prada and Gucci, to lesser-known up-and-comers (like No.21) it can be hard to keep up with all the new looks.
Luckily for you, we’ve scanned through an endless number of shows and outfits to find the best looks straight from the Milan runway. Who knows, you might even find inspiration for your next style obsession.
This gorgeous piece from Alberta Ferretti’s Fall 2014 collection is truly a work of art. The sheer material combined with the incredibly intricate detailing of various fabrics added just the right amount of sexiness and mystery to the dress. Ferretti turned what could have been another boring black dress into a sensual yet graceful number that any woman would kill to wear.
Scervino has got this outfit down to a T. The whole ensemble, from the oversized necktie to the jet black cape screams sophistication, and the flared skirt, with its subtle pattern by the hemline, exposes just the right amount of leg. Scervino definitely struck the right balance between classic conservativeness and modern chic.

Spring may be quickly approaching, but that doesn’t mean we have to deny our love for fall colors. Missoni’s pumpkin colored coat is definitely an attention-grabber. The way he utilized the angular pattern and various shades of grey andrust to bring out the brightness of the orange is brilliant. Creds to Missoni for bringing some warmth and color onto the runway.
Trussardi did no wrong with this simple monochrome and clean-cut pantsuit. The detailing on the crisp collared dress shirt adds a feminine touch to the overall masculinity of the blazer and pants. The loose-fitting suit strikes a perfect balance between luxury and casual chic. Not to mention, those oversized sun-glasses bring out every woman’s inner sass.
Dresses seem to all too common on the runway, but this piece in Emilio Pucci’s collection couldn’t be ignored. The daring V-neck matched with the high slit creates a symmetry and sexiness that draws you in. The effortless flow of the sheer fabric and the incredibly intricate embellishments certainly showcased Pucci’s extraordinary talent and made this look one to remember.
