We've seen Shia LaBeouf announce he's "not famous anymore," and now Alec Baldwin says "goodbye to the public life."

In an Op-Ed piece for New York Magazine, Baldwin announced that his article would be the last time he would discuss his personal life in an American publication ever.

After countless encounters with the paparazzi and the media Baldwin has had enough, according to ET Online.

"I used to engage with the media knowing that some of it would be adverbial, but now it's superfluous at best and toxic at its worst," the "30 Rock" star writes.

The actor bashes "New Media," referring to The Huffington Post and MSNBC saying, "anything good you do is tossed in a pit, and you are measured by who you are on your worst day." Baldwin also points out that the "New Media" is doing whatever it takes to get clicks on their sites.

Baldwin also alludes that he might be moving back, since living in New York is too much for him to handle.

"Everything I hated about L.A. I'm beginning to crave. L.A. is a place where you live behind a gate…your interaction with the public is minimal," Baldwin says. "Manhattan is like Beverly Hills. And the soul of New York has moved to Brooklyn, where everything new and exciting seems to be.

Baldwin finishes his piece calling out LaBeouf, who was fired from Baldwin's New York show "Orphans." Baldwin mentioned LaBeouf's most recent attention-getting act (i.e. the "I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE bag), and said he felt sorry for LaBeouf.

He also adds, "The solution for me now is: I've lived this for 30 years, I'm done with it."
This isn't the first time Alec Baldwin has announced how much he hates the media and plans to leave the public eye, but will it be the last? I guess we'll have to wait and see. Regardless of whether he wants to be or not, as a celebrity it will be difficult for Baldwin and his family to stay out of the limelight.
