Coupled with the holiday weekend, LAX officials warned that travel could be affected.

The six-mile closure is close to LAX – about 10 miles north – which is the nation’s third busiest airport.

The closures will start at 7 p.m. Friday. They will end Tuesday at 6 a.m.

The 405 Freeway was crowned the busiest freeway in the nation in 2013, according to CBS.

Check the LAX website if you need help with travel on Friday.
