USC has had a rich tradition of accumulating strong talent on the offensive side of the ball on National Signing Day. This year's crop will continue on that pattern, and here are their five prospects that fit the mold.

Adoree' Jackson, Athlete

Star Rating (Rivals/Scout/247 Sports): 5/5/5

Jackson is the crown jewel of USC's recruiting class. He's considered the top prospect in California, and a top-10 prospect overall by ESPN. Although he played cornerback for J-Serra High School, he's considered an athlete because of the possibility of him switching over to the offensive side of the ball. He's an electric athlete who also has outstanding speed. His explosiveness would translate well at wide receiver because of his ability to make defenders miss tackles and gain significant yards after the catch. His skill set has often been compared with that of Marqise Lee and De'Anthony Thomas.

Jalen Greene, Quarterback

Star Rating: 3/3/3

The three-star, dual-threat quarterback from J-Serra High School originally verbally committed to Boise State and Washington, but eventually decided to commit to USC in December after Steve Sarkisian was hired. The 6-foot-2, 194-pounder possesses great footwork and good speed for his position. The lefty is also very accurate and has a tight delivery on his throws. What he needs to work on, however, is his arm strength. The timing on his throws is often what makes up for his struggle to throw the ball on a rope.

Bryce Dixon, Tight End

Star Rating: 4/4/4

Dixon is the top-rated receiving tight end in this year's recruiting class according to ESPN. He's a mismatch against opposing defenses with his big frame and great ball skills. He also has good speed, and will be a popular target in USC's new offensive scheme. Dixon's ability to make big plays in the middle of the field will help with spacing considering USC's explosive weapons on the outside. While his receiving ability is a strength, he does need to develop as a blocker.

Ajene Harris, Athlete

Star Rating: 3/3/2

The local Crenshaw product played quarterback in high school, however he's viewed as an athlete by recruiting experts. Harris is small for most positions, as he's 5-foot-10 and 176 pounds. He plays bigger than his size though, as his toughness and competitive edge often shines when he's on the field. It will be interesting to see what position USC's coaching staff will give him, as it's most likely that he'll line up at wide receiver or safety.

Rahshead Johnson, Athlete

Star Rating: 4/4/4

The four-star Cabrillo High School athlete committed to USC this past January. He played wide receiver in high school, and often displayed strong hands and good ability to generate yards after the catch. He doesn't possess a lot of strength, but makes up for it with his quickness and acceleration. He also is a capable return man. Johnson would fit in with USC as a wide receiver or cornerback.
