Ukraine Anti-Government Protests Intensify

Anti-government protests continue in Kiev and throughout the Ukraine, with near-apocalyptic scenes of unrest and destruction being spread throughout social media.

On Monday, Ukraine's justice minister, Olena Lukash, threatened to call a 'state of emergency' if protesters did not leave her agency's office building.  Ukraine's president, Viktor Yanukovych, allegedly offered amnesty to protesters, but only if they essentially disbanded.

Yanukovych's government is also reportedly meeting with opposition leaders, including former boxing champion and leader of the Udar (Punch) party, Vitali Klitschko.

The Ukrainian government has also nixed a hastily-passed 'anti-protest' law, which has intensified anti-government sentiment amongst protesters.
