Twitter Reacts To Congressman Threatening Reporter

Even though he did not give a speech on national television last night, Representative Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.) went viral after he threatened New York cable news reporter Michael Scotto on camera.

 

Scotto asked Grimm about a campaign finance investigation on his 2010 campaign when Grimm threatened to throw him over the nearby balcony and “'break him in half.'”

 

The Congressman issued an apology today, which Scotto accepted. Grimm is under inspection for possible campaign finance abuses, including soliciting donations from a foreign national in exchange for a green card, according to the House Ethics Committee.
