Known for her bold personality and infamous feud with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Rosie is reportedly returning to "The View" - not as an official co-host again, but as a guest. Announced by Barbara Walters on the show this morning, she will be a guest on the Feb. 7 show.

This will be her first time back on the show since her co-hosting position came to a hault seven years ago following the Rosie-Elisabeth fight. The last former co-host to return as a guest was Star Jones in Feb. 2012, and the experience was undoubtedly awkward as seen by this clip.

Rosie's most recent major TV gig was on "Rosie," a talk show on the OWN network which was cancelled in 2012 just five months into the first season. She has also made several apperances on scripted TV shows including "Web Therapy" and "Happily Divorced."

Regarding Rosie's return, Barbara Walters said, "I have great affection for Rosie and we have remained in contact throughout the years. I am happy to welcome her back to the program. She is always a lively and engaging guest and a part of the show's successful history."

It'll be interesting to see how she interacts with the panel of women, given that Elisabeth is no longer on the show and newest edition Jenny McCarthy is also funny and not afraid to speak her mind. Perhaps since this is Barbara's final season before her retiring, she is testing out possible co-hosts to take her place.

Do you think Rose O'Donnell should return to "The View" as a permanent co-host? Tune in on Feb. 7 on ABC to see her appearance on the show, which is surely not one to be missed.
