Dennis Rodman, bestie of North Korea dictator, Kim Jong Un, is again returning to the (mostly) closed-off country (mostly), but this time with a crew.

According to Rodman, a former NBA star, he has selected a team of former NBA players to accompany him in a game of “basketball diplomacy.”

The team includes Kenny Anderson, Cliff Robinson, Vin Baker. Craig Hodges, Doug Christie and Charles D. Smith. The group is expected to play against a top North Korean Senior National team on January 8th in celebration of Kim Jong Un’s birthday.

From New York Daily News, Rodman was quoted saying, “My previous travels have allowed me to feel the enthusiasm and warmth of fans. The positive memories and smiles on the faces of the children and families are a testament to the great efforts we have put into fulfilling our mission wherever we go voiding any politics. We are all looking forward to arriving in Pyongyang, meeting the citizens, visiting various charities and using the opportunity to develop new relationships that result in our annual return.”

Rodman has just recently returned from North Korea after a Christmas break where he helped train their basketball team. He has claimed that the recent execution of Kim Jong Un’s uncle won’t have any effect on his future trips.
