Over the past few years, Oreo has released a variety of limited edition flavored cookies, such as green tea, blueberry ice cream, watermelon, berry burst ice cream and candy corn. With the huge success of their past limited edition flavors, Oreo is proud to release two new flavors: cookie dough and marshmallow crispy.

The new Cookie Dough Oreo will keep the chocolate-flavored cookie, but will replace the traditional filling with a tan-colored cookie dough flavored filling.

Rice Krispies seems to have inspired the new Marshmallow Crispy Oreo; the cookie is vanilla-flavored, and the filling has crisped rice in it.

While many early reviewers have fallen in love with the new flavors, many others are not so pleased. Many die-hard traditional Oreo cookie fans say that both the flavors are "too sweet" and "too rich."

However, overall, early reviewers of the cookies prefer the marshmallow crispy flavor compared to the cookie dough flavor.

During the Grammys, a special hashtag was revealed in an Oreo commercial that fans could tweet with for a chance to win some free cookies before their official release, which is Feb. 3. However, if you missed that chance to tweet out with the hashtag or just didn't win, there have been claims that some general food stores have gotten their hands on both products and are currently selling them. So if you want to try them beforehand or want to stock up before the crowd, keep your eyes out. Once officially released, the cookies will only be available for about six to eight weeks.
