Tonight music junkies from all over the world will tune into “music’s biggest night.” For the last two years, LL Cool J has charmed us with his suave moves, great looks and great personality, so it won’t be hard to say that the third time will be a charm as he graces the stage tonight for the 56th Annual Grammy Award Show.

Taking a look back to the 54th awards LL presented an unforgettable prayer to recognize one of the most beloved artists of all time, Whitney Houston.

LL Cool J must be doing something right to hold down the hosting position for yet another year. If you remember correctly, there was a period of time where there was no host for the show. The show decided to have celebrity introductions instead.

Introducing LL Cool J as the host was a good move on the Grammy’s part.  Having a host really makes the show more personable. The host gives the audience more direction for the flow of the show.

More important than just having a host, by having a two-time GRAMMY-winning rapper host the show, the face of the show is delivering a product that he knows quite well.

In the midst of much anticipated drama due to the few snubs that happened this year during nominations, the musician who is also busy acting on “NCIS: Los Angeles”  has kept his words neutral encouraging all of the artist  to stay humble…after all, they can’t win every year.

In regards to hosting for the last two years, LL Cool J has done what he does best…kept it cool, calm and collected. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, LL Cool J said “At the end of the day, it’s about these performers performing and getting their Grammys and the nominees having a great time. You know, I don’t think I’m Billy Crystal, I don’t think I’m Ellen. I’m just doing my thing and going to have some fun.”

You can catch LL Cool J hosting the Grammy’s for the third time tonight on CBS!
