What’s better than a well-suited male? One that can sing to you. Tonight, January 26, 2014, these beautiful and musical men (and women) converged at the Staples Center for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. The red carpet featured many of our favorite male artists, ranging from Miguel to Macklemore.

Best Dressed Men

Best Dressed accolades go to Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar and Neil Patrick Harris. Macklemore’s velvet teal suit caused many a female to swoon, while Kendrick Lamar’s sharply-tailored blue ensemble sent our hearts a flutter. Our third pick for the best dressed in menswear is presenter Neil Patrick Harris, who wore a suit that would make Barney Stinson proud.

Worst Dressed Men

Where there are well-dressed men, there are also those that didn’t get the black tie memo. Despite receiving Producer of the Year, Pharrell chose to imitate a Canadian Mountie with his red Adidas track jacket and large brown hat (the size of which swallowed his noggin), rather than step out in a more tailored ensemble. Keith Urban didn’t get the suit memo either, arriving in jeans and a henley.

Menswear Trends

Menswear trends featured on the red carpet include textured suit jackets (as seen on Kevin Hart and Austin Mahone), as well as velvet, courtesy of Robin Thicke and Macklemore. And though the last trend is by no means new or revolutionary, it needs to end. Gentlemen, yes, the flashes from the paparazzi are bright, but sunglasses are unnecessary indoors. We're looking at you Robin Thicke, T.I., and Marc Anthony.
