“Pitch Perfect 2” is a process in the making.

Elizabeth Banks, who starred in and produced the original film, is back to direct the popular movie’s sequel. If the process is completed, we’re looking at a 2015 debut.

What should fans expect?

1. Banks came up with the idea of the film, without which, this movie about college a cappella groups wouldn’t be so popular. With her insights and ideas, she should fit the job description for director to the sequel. Banks is also expected to return as character, Gail.

2. Anna Kendrick, who played the lead as Beca is rumored to be returning as her character along with Rebel Wilson, the main comedian in the original film.

3. Kendrick’s love interest in the first film was played by Skylar Astin, who now has a show on TBS. As he previously told the Huffington Post, he has no reservations about being a part of the sequel.

4. With the last film ending with the seniors of the Barden Bellas graduating, it is unsure if the characters played by Brittany Snow and Anna Camp will return in this sequel. Actress/singer Demi Lovato is also rumored to be cast as a new character.

5. Screenwriter Kay Cannon will also be back on board. Fans, keep watching the first film to contain your excitement until 2015. We are all looking forward to hear some witty quotables.
