If you know anything about YA (that's Young Adult in "youth parlance") fiction, you'll know about John Green.

Green, the author of popular novels like "Looking for Alaska" and "Paper Towns," is famous within the literary world for his dramatic and poignant tragiromantic narratives (and in particular, this quote), and his novel "The Fault in Our Stars," which focuses on teenagers Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters, is getting the big screen treatment à la "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."

Shailene Woodley, who is also starring in the film adaptation of the YA dystopian drama "Divergent," stars as Hazel, and chopped off her famously long locks for the role. Ansel Elgort ("Carrie," "Divergent" also) will be playing Augustus. Check out the first trailer of the film below:
