The popular drama series "Breaking Bad" may be realer than you think.

Homeland security investigators say blue methamphetamine is on the rise in New Mexico, according to the Associated Press.

It's a reality that comes after five seasons of the popular show, which featured a high-quality form of methamphetamine with a blue tint.

However, the AP reports that according to Kevin Abar, a homeland security agent, the blue tint is only for show: the chemicals used to make the blue substance dilute the purity of the product, and are even known to lead to sickness.

Heisenberg, it would seem, would not be pleased.
