Amanda Knox Found Guilty Of Murder Again
An Italian court convicted Amanda Knox on Thursday for murder, two years after her initial conviction of murder was overturned.
The former exchange student was convicted, along with her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, for murdering Meredith Kercher in Nov. 2007. Knox and Sollecito were convicted in 2009, but that conviction was overturned on appeal two years later.
An Italian judge sentenced Knox to 28 1/2 years in prison, although it is unilikely that Knox would return to Italy to serve her sentence or that the U.S. would extradite.
