It’s that time of year again; the Grammys are upon us! This year, the awards show was held at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. The music industry’s biggest artists, such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys, strutted their stuff on the red carpet this Sunday afternoon, January 26. But as always, when it comes to the stars’ fashion choices, there are winner and losers. Check out Neon Tommy’s list of the 7 worst outfits from the red carpet.

Tasha Cobbs

First up is Tasha Cobbs, who won her first Grammy for best Gospel/Contemporary Music Performance. Unfortunately, Cobbs certainly didn’t win for best dressed. The dress’ color is a cheap, tacky blue, the ruffles hit her at all the wrong places, and the fabric looks stiff and uncomfortable.

Paula Patton

Next on the worst dressed list is Paula Patton, who walked the red carpet wearing a dress that could make anyone dizzy. The stripes cause sensory overload, and the two lion heads by her shoulders are just plain strange. Patton could definitely do much better.

Skylar Grey

Skylar Grey wore a skin tight nude-colored dress. While the cut of and the fabric of the dress is bearable, the color is just too hideous to overlook. You know there is something wrong when you can't tell a difference between what's fabric and what's skin.

Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin graced the red carpet in this bizarre and cheap-looking dress. Though the cut is simple, the pattern is anything but. The bright turquoise snake-skin print make it look like she is trying way too hard.

Madonna

Madonna has had her fair share of daring outfits, but this time she chose to keep it a little conservative with a suit...a suit that she could have bought at a costume store! The hat, cane and flared pants make it look like she’s going to a circus rather, than to the Grammys.

Chrisette Michele

Chrisette Michele was another one of the few female artists who opted for a suit. Unfortunately, the black and white print is just way too overwhelming, and the strange green-yellow ombre on the front is anything but flattering. Hopefully next time she’ll look in the mirror before she leaves the house.

Cindy Lauper

Last but not least, Cindy Lauper wore a bizarre all-black outfit consisting of a top that looks like a combination of a dress and a cape, and tight pants. Her huge, gold necklace probably weighs a ton and only makes the outfit look even gaudier. Don't even get us started on the hair.
