NTFL: Week 17 of the 2013 NFL Season
Law Murray brought back NTFL for the last week of the NFL season, and this time, Andrew McKagan joins the show. The two went deep into previewing all of the scenarios for Sunday, as well as touching on what teams will concern themselves with going into the offseason.
In the AFC, there are four teams going for the last Wild Card spot: The Baltimore Ravens (at Cincinnati Bengals), Miami Dolphins (vs. New York Jets), San Diego Chargers (vs. Kansas City Chiefs) and Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Cleveland Browns).
The Denver Broncos (at Oakland Raiders) can lock up homefield advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. The New England Patriots (vs. Buffalo Bills) can lock up a first-round bye with a win. The Indianapolis Colts (vs. Jacksonville Jaguars) can get a first-round bye with a win, a Cincinnati loss, and a New England loss.
The Houston Texans ( at Tennessee Titans) will have the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft with a loss.
In the NFC, there are "win or go home" games for division titles in the NFC North (Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears) and the NFC East (Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys).
The Seattle Seahawks (vs. St. Louis Rams) can secure homefield advantage throughout the NFC playoffs with a win. The Carolina Panthers (at Atlanta Falcons) can secure a first-round bye with a win. The New Orleans Saints (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers) can win the division and secure a first-round bye with a win and a Carolina loss. The San Francisco 49ers ( at Arizona Cardinals) can win the NFC West and home-field throughout the playoffs with a win and a Seattle loss. The Cardinals can only make the playoffs with a win and a New Orleans loss.
The Washington Redskins (at New York Giants) won't have their first-round pick in the 2014 Draft as a result of the 2012 Robert Griffin III trade with the Rams; the Rams get the top pick in the Draft if the Redskins lose and the Texans win. The Minnesota Vikings (vs. Detroit Lions) will have the third pick in the 2014 Draft with a loss and unlikely wins by Cleveland, Jacksonville, Oakland, Atlanta, and Tampa Bay.
