Joseph Gordon-Levitt Released Trailer For Variety TV Show
In March, Gordon-Levitt announced that he was partnering with Pivot, Participant Media’s cable network, for a variety television show made through Hit RECord, the collaborative multimedia production company he founded in 2005.
The trailer for the show was released this week, featuring live performances, animation and, of course, lots of the Gordon-Levitt we all know and love.
The segments for the show are produced by anyone and everyone collaborating with Hit RECord on the website and at their live events where they showcase content, as well as produce new content.
In the past they’ve released compilation books, CDs, and short films, but Gordon-Levitt now wants to reinvent the variety television show.
“I love variety, I like performing live ... I grew up on 'Third Rock From The Sun' performing live for big laughs ... Let's just do a whole bunch of really fun sh*t,” Gordon-Levitt told The Huffington Post.
Though I'm sure some of you were sold at the first mention of Gordon-Levitt, here's the trailer if you need more convincing.
The show premieres on Pivot on Jan. 18 at 10 p.m. EST.
