India Criminalizes Homosexuality

It is, again, a crime to be gay in India states the nation's Supreme Court. 

In 2009, India decriminalized homosexulaity stating the 1860 penal code of "carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal" illegal. However, Wednesday morning Indian Supreme Court ruled that parliment is the only ruling body that can change section 377.
