While they might not have full-blown Thanksgiving menus, some restaurants and eateries are featuring turkey-laden holiday dishes—specifically burgers—for this month early.

Ranging from The Counter’s ever-popular “Not Your Granny’s Turkey” to Denny’s “Dwarves Turkey & Dressing Dinner,” these unique entrées take a seasonal twist on the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

THE COUNTER BURGER – “NOT YOUR GRANNY’S TURKEY”

Yes, this burger features a Thanksgiving dinner wrapped in a bun. The Counter’s current “Burger of the Month” is stacked with sweet potato hash (resembling a thin slice of latke), cranberries, a red onion, spinach, maple-glazed ham and a seasoned half-pound turkey burger rounded out with a brioche-style bun. This decadent seasonal feast includes warm rosemary cream sauce on the side.

THE OINKSTER – “THANKSGIVING TURKEY BURGER”

This Eagle Rock-based eatery is featuring a “Thanksgiving Turkey Burger” this month. This layered complexity includes a 6-oz. turkey patty topped with sage, onion relish, celery, homemade cranberry sauce, Cheddar cheese, mayo and lettuce piled inside a thick bun. One satisfied diner described this burger as a “Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich fashioned into a burger” assembled with “expert execution."

DENNY’S – “DWARVES TURKEY & DRESSING DINNER”

Currently featured on Denny’s limited-time “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” menu, the “Dwarves Turkey & Dressing Dinner” includes a decadent Thanksgiving feast that won’t break your wallet. This dish includes tender slices of turkey breast, gravy, cranberry sauce and savory stuffing, in addition to the customer’s choice of dinner bread and two sides.

MARCONA – “MARCONA THANKSGIVING” AND “HONEY-FRIED TURKEY”

The Melrose eatery starts Thanksgiving early this year with its holiday-themed sandwiches. The “Marcona Thanksgiving” is a mixture of mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and house-roasted turkey, while the “Honey-Fried Turkey” features bacon, tart apples, mashed avocado, pickled onion, sprouts, stone-ground honey mustard and brie.

SLATER’S 50/50 – “THANKSGIVING BURGER”

The “Burger of the Month” for November features the burger joint’s signature fresh turkey patty topped with turkey gravy, cranberry sauce made from scratch, sage mayo and house-made brioche dressing, all sandwiched between slices of a honey wheat bun.

IHOP – “CLASSIC DINNERS”

The “Classic Roasted Turkey Dinner” at IHOP features slices of moist turkey breasts topped on a pile of savory stuffing covered with rich, warm, turkey gravy and is served with broccoli, a side of lingonberry jam and mashed potatoes. The diner’s “Classic Ham Dinner” includes a hickory-smoked, sweet caramel-glazed ham served with broccoli and mashed potatoes.

CLAIM JUMPER – “TURKEY SUPPER”

Available for only a limited time at Claim Jumper, the “Turkey Supper” features slices of slow-roasted turkey served with amber honey and fresh oranges served over stuffing with orange-cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables and savory turkey gravy.
