Sara (Daniel's ex) is making the wedding cake for Daniel and Emily's wedding. In one scene, Sara bakes for the couple in Emily's beach house, and Daniel is left speaking sweet words to Sara. Emily is none the wiser at first, unsuspecting any foul play. But by the end of the episode, Daniel seems to be developing feelings for Sara again!

Jack is finally confronting the loss of Amanda. While on a romantic evening with Margaux he gets cold feet and turns away from kissing her, which she finds hurtful, unsurprisingly. Though he's trying to sincerely court her, he's still distraught about the loss of his wife, something that Nolan encourages him to finally deal with once and for all. He visits Amanda's grave and leaves his wedding ring on her grave, sending his love.

Conrad has hired a new publicist to try to clean up his image, presumably for a return to politics. Bizzy Preston, played by Ana Ortiz, is a notorious PR maven who has both started and put out many PR fires. As it turns out, she has a history with Nolan. After years of being estranged with his father, Nolan was finally impressing his father with Nolcorp's success. He was planning a trip to reconcile with Nolan, when Bizzy planted a story in the press calling Nolan gay. The coverage was seen as a disgrace by Nolan's father, who called off his trip and never spoke to Nolan again.

Emily and Aiden meet in the dark along the water- always by the water with these two. They decide to play friendly in front of Victoria so that she thinks they're involved again.

As retaliation against Bizzy, Nolan and Emily plot to set her up for a downfall with the Graysons. Emily tricks Busy by telling her she was previously married- a detail Busy drops to Victoria over cocktails.

Emily and Nolan's friendship is in a very good place. They are conspiring together and also noticeably nostalgic about how far each of them has come since beginning their Hamptons revenge. It seems more and more like Emily's journey may be coming to an end!

Conrad appears at Voulez to try to get Margaux to do a profile piece on him. She rebukes his "offer", telling him she will maintain journalistic integrity. Instead, she suggests he turn over his papers and focus on telling a true and more interesting story about himself.

During Victoria's characteristically chic Independence Day party, Charlotte shows up with Sara in tow. Victoria is mortified to see her and makes several comments about her being too declass for the soiree. After Sara excuses herself, Charlotte scolds Victoria saying she thinks Sara and Daniel still have feelings for one another. She also suggests Sara may be just the person to help break up Emily and Daniel's wedding- a notion which brings a glimmer to Victoria's eyes.

Pretending to make nice with Bizzy, Nolan offers her his eyeglasses which she uses to check her calendar. His glasses have a camera embedded in them and he uses them to gain her passcode and access to her text messages. Once he's able to hack her phone he discovers that she has a big secret of her own- she's having an affair!

Victoria shows up in Aiden's room at the manor drunk and ready to send him packing. He tries to convince her she needs him to fight Emily, but she refuses and asks him to leave. On the beach the next morning, Emily tells Aiden to go prepare things for their future when Emily is finished. They kiss passionately and part as the sun rises.

Over at the Stowaway, Jack and Margaux are waking up after their first night together. Jack apologized to her at the Independence Day party and she was swept off her feet.

Nolan visits Bizzy at her office and confronts her about the heartache she'd caused years before. He makes it clear that he's hacked her emails and tells her he's sent emails to all of her clients telling them how sloppy she is. He's ruined her career and says he'll keep her affair a secret as long as she ends the affair immediately. She apologizes for what happened with Nolan's father, but her apology is far too late.

Victoria shows up at Sara's house to apologize for her behavior at the party. She suggests that perhaps they can work together for a common cause. Oh, Victoria, as manipulative as ever.

Sitting outside Nolan's seaside pad, he and Emily review his video footage from the night before. His glasses accidentally pocket-recorded an entire scene of the party including a moment on the beach where Daniel and Sara nearly kissed! Emily now understands why Daniel has been distracted and pledges to make sure they have no future together.

Two questions about this episode: wasn't Sara supposedly paralyzed- or nearly so- in Daniel's accident? How is she perfectly mobile now? Second, last time we heard the Graysons were broke- so how are they hiring Bizzy and throwing lavish parties?
