With pumpkin reigning as this fall’s “it” ingredient, it’s easy to find this comforting spiced flavor in treats, dishes and drinks everywhere around L.A.

While many bakeries, shops and restaurants treat pumpkin snacks and dishes as seasonal fare, others offer pumpkin-infused products all year long. 

Can’t get enough of this seasonal snack? Here are some ways you can get your pumpkin fix. 

“Pumpkin Spice” M&Ms

M&Ms has flavors for every major holiday, occasion or season, and fall flavors were not exempt. “Pumpkin Spice” M&Ms, available exclusively at Target from mid-September, featured the chocolate hard shell candies with a subtle pumpkin spice flavor. The seasonal sweets received mixed reviews — some candy fiends were pleased with the subtle pumpkin taste, while others said it was underwhelming. 

Milk Jar Cookies – “Pumpkin Pie” Cookies

The “Pumpkin Pie” cookies at the quaint Milk Jar Cookies bakery—which just launched in April—are a seasonal treat that has been flying off store shelves. This delectable cookie will be served until Thanksgiving, according to owner Courtney Cowan, who encourage all cookie and pumpkin lovers to try it.

“People love pumpkin, and this cookie is a new addition to my personal favorites,” she says.

Trader Joe’s – “Pumpkin Butter” and Everything Else

Anything and everything pumpkin can be found this fall at Trader Joe’s. As soon as you enter the store, the vast array of orange products—ranging from the squash itself to “Pumpkin Butter”—is almost overwhelming. A noteworthy staple (in light of the recent “Cookie Butter” craze) is “Pumpkin Butter," a delightful spread that tastes like pumpkin pie (and, like “Cookie Butter,” can be used on sandwiches, ice cream and crackers). Other available products include: “Pumpkin Biscotti,” “Pumpkin Croissants,” “Pumpkin Ice Cream,” “Pumpkin Macarons,” “Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps,” “Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins,” “Pumpkin Cream Cheese,” “Pumpkin Cheesecake” and many more.

Beverly Hills Brownie Company – “Pumpkin Cream Cheese” and “Pumpkin Chocolate Chip” Brownies

These two treats are only available during October and November at The Beverly Hills Brownie Company. “Pumpkin Chocolate Chip” features a double-layered brownie—chocolate chip bottom layer covered with a spiced pumpkin layer—infused with cream cheese and frosted with a dark chocolate glaze. “Pumpkin Cream Cheese” features a vanilla-based, butterscotch chip-studded brownie with pumpkin spice (including cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves) and a delicious cream cheese filling. 

The Farmer’s Kitchen – “Pumpkin Quesadilla”

At The Farmer’s Kitchen in L.A.—featuring “fresh meals from fantastic farms”—the “Pumpkin Quesadilla” provides diners with a seasonal combination of onions, white cheddar and pumpkin butter.

Sprinkles Cupcakes – “Pumpkin” Cupcakes

Sprinkles Cupcakes usually features its “Pumpkin” cupcakes on Wednesdays and Fridays. However, from Oct. 31 thru Nov. 30, Sprinkles is featuring this popular cupcake—made with cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger and topped with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting—every. Single. Day. 

Lucifer’s Kitchen – “Roast Pumpkin & Proscuitto” Pizza

The home to “damned good pizza,” Lucifer’s Kitchen embraces the “Roast Pumpkin & Prosciutto” Pizza—featuring pumpkin, basil, spinach, roasted garlic and prosciutto—as a menu staple.

Simple Things Restaurant – “Pumpkin Streusel Pie”

Pies are served in “cute,” “simple” and “big” slices at Simple Things Restaurant. “Pumpkin Streusel” Pie, one of the many rotating flavors, can be found at the eatery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

Hershey’s Kisses “Pumpkin Spice Flavored Candies”

Whether they’re devoured individually or in brownies or cookies, Hershey’s KissesPumpkin Spice-Flavored Candies” can be enjoyed by all. The milk chocolate candies with pumpkin spice filling have added seasonal appeal with their festive brown and orange foil wrappings. 

Bruxie Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches – “Pumpkin Cheesecake Bruxie”

Gourmet waffle sandwiches are staples on the Bruxie’s menu, but this fall, some of these items get a seasonal twist. One such item is the “Pumpkin Cheesecake Bruxie,” which features a waffle with a spiced pumpkin cheesecake filling, ginger snap cookie crumbles and candied pecans. 

Casey’s Cupcakes – “Pumpkin Patch Perfection”

Casey’s Cupcakes—one of the winners of The Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” in 2011—features a vast array of cupcake flavors. The current cupcake of the month—“Pumpkin Patch Perfection”—features a pumpkin spice cupcake with a pumpkin maple filling and maple-flavored buttercream frosting adorned with pumpkin spice, gold glitter and graham cracker crumbs.

This seasonal treat contains no actual pumpkin flavor. The beloved chocolate-and-peanut-butter treat gets a twist this fall with a pumpkin shape.

See’s Candies – “Pumpkin Pie Truffles” and “Pumpkin Spice Lollipops”

These quaint “Pumpkin Pie Truffles”—featuring real cinnamon and creamy pumpkin flavors coated in milk chocolate—are part of See’s Candies’ fall collection. The “Pumpkin Spice Lollipops” bring a seasonal spin to the company’s traditional lollipop. 

Vanilla Bake Shop – “Pumpkin Bar”

Vanilla Bake Shop boasts a plethora of cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pies, and it includes a seasonal holiday menu as well. Popular for fall, the “Pumpkin Bar” emphasizes a rich cinnamon flavor and is topped with streusel pecan crumbles. The bakery also features a traditional “Pumpkin Pie” made with a buttery graham crust or cinnamon pecan streusel graham crust and Penzey’s Tung Hing Cinnamon. 

Jack in the Box – “Pumpkin Spice” Ice Cream Shake

Keeping up with the season, Jack in the Box is currently featuring a “Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream Shake” on its dessert menu. 

Coco’s Bakery and Restaurant – “Harvest” and “Pumpkin” Pies 

Known for their comfort food-style dishes and pies, Coco’s Bakery and Restaurant doesn’t disappoint with these seasonal offerings. The traditional “Pumpkin Pie” features a delicious medley of spices and creamy pumpkin, while the “Harvest Pie” portrays a spiced pumpkin pie topped with velvety pumpkin chiffon and dollops of fresh whipped cream.  

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts – “Pumpkin Cheesecake” and “Pumpkin Spice” Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme is currently featuring two seasonal flavors. The “Pumpkin Cheesecake” doughnut marries cheesecake and pumpkin flavors with a smooth filling and is covered with cream cheese icing and gingersnap cookie crumbles. The “Pumpkin Spice” doughnut features a moist, old-fashioned pumpkin spice-flavored twist on the original cake doughnut and is coated in the company’s signature original glaze. 

Crumbs Bake Shop – “Pumpkin” Cupcake 

The seasonal “Pumpkin” cupcake at Crumbs Bake Shop is definitely a fun, fall flavor. Featuring a pumpkin cake frosted and filled with vanilla cream cheese frosting, the pastry is topped off with streusel crumbs and cinnamon sugar.

Sprinkles Ice Cream – “Pumpkin” Ice Cream

Known for its signature “Red Velvet” ice cream flavor, Sprinkles Ice Cream features a monthly flavor. While October brought “Candy Corn,” November brings “Pumpkin,” a fragrant blend of cinnamon ice cream infused with bites of the company’s “Pumpkin” cupcake made with cinnamon cream cheese frosting.

Starbucks Coffee – Pumpkin Pastry Variety

The raved-about “Pumpkin Spice Latte” is not the only pumpkin-flavored item Starbucks has to offer. The coffee chain also features a “Pumpkin Cheesecake Croissant” made with cinnamon and pumpkin puree, a “Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin” comprising crunchy, candied pumpkin seeds and a decadent cream cheese filling, a delicious “Pumpkin Scone” made with pumpkin spice, dipped in white icing and drizzled with pumpkin icing, and a “Pumpkin Sugar Cookie” featuring a lemon spiced flavor in a pumpkin cookie shape.

Isabella’s Cookies – “Perfect Pumpkin Sugar Rush” 

Pumpkin cookies are the main event right now at Isabella’s Cookies. These seasonal “Perfect Pumpkin Sugar Rush” cookies feature sweet sugar cookies decorated with pumpkin-flavored frosting and dainty sugar crystals. 

The Cheesecake Factory – “Pumpkin” and “Pumpkin Pecan” Cheesecakes

The hotly anticipated and highly demanded “Pumpkin” and “Pumpkin Pecan” cheesecakes are back at The Cheesecake Factory from October thru the holiday season. “Pumpkin” features a classic, fragrant, pumpkin spice flavor with a signature graham cracker crust, while “Pumpkin Pecan” includes a decadent layer of pecans. 

Souplantation – “Spiced Pumpkin Muffins”

Souplantation, popular for its salad bar buffet and home-baked goods, is featuring “Spiced Pumpkin Muffins” for all of November. A part of the restaurant’s “Heartwarming Thanks” menu—which includes other comfort food-type dishes like “Chicken Pot Pie Stew & Buttermilk Biscuits” and “Creamy Sweet Tomato & Basil Soup”—these “Pumpkin Spice Muffins” feature a sweet, subtle hint of pumpkin and are topped with sugar crystals.

Georgetown Cupcake – “Pumpkin Spice” Cupcake

This seasonal treat at Georgetown Cupcake (http://www.georgetowncupcake.com/index.html) readily embodies fall. The “Pumpkin Spice” (http://www.georgetowncupcake.com/menu.html) cupcake includes a pumpkin spice cake, maple-infused cream cheese frosting and a fondant maple leaf decoration. 

The Donut Man – “Pumpkin Donuts”

This seasonal treat (http://www.thedonutmanca.com/photo-menu/pumpkin-donut-2/) is back at The Donut Man (http://www.thedonutmanca.com), located in Glendora. Pumpkin lovers will be ecstatic about this pumpkin cream-topped creation, channeling donut dough with pumpkin pie filling. 

Chili’s Grill & Bar Restaurant – “Pumpkin Spice Molten”

While the “Molten Chocolate Cake” is a best seller on the restaurant’s dessert menu, Chili’s (http://www.chilis.com/EN/Pages/home.aspx) often features seasonal molten flavors as well. Available for fall is the “Pumpkin Spice Molten” (http://www.chilis.com/EN/Pages/menuitem.aspx?CatId=C841291), which highlights a pumpkin spiced-cake with a sweet cinnamon cream filling and finished with vanilla ice cream, a caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar. 

Panera Bread – “Pumpkin Cookie, Muffin and Muffie”

The seasonal “Pumpkin Cookie” at Panera Bread features a freshly baked, pumpkin-shaped shortbread cookie with orange icing. The company’s “Pumpkin Muffin” features a treat made with honey and real pumpkin and is topped with powdered sugar, while the petite “Pumpkin Muffie” is similar, but just features a muffin top.

ConfeXion Cupcakes + Cake – “Patch ‘O Pumpkin” Cupcake

The seasonal treat at this Pasadena-based bakery features a fluffy, pumpkin spice cake with a gingerbread-pecan crust, mascarpone crème, fresh pumpkin mousse filling and is topped with a homemade, baklava pumpkin patch.

Cookie Casa Bakery – Seasonal Pumpkin Spread

To celebrate the fall season, Cookie Casa Bakery is currently featuring “Little Pumpkin Cakes,” which are moist, cake-like cookies with the right amount of flavor and spice and drizzled with icing. The bakery is also featuring “Pumpkin Pie Crumb Bars” and “Pumpkin” flavored cupcakes, according to owner Erin Zabel.

“We start our whole pumpkin spread in October,” she confirms, “and we have our pies around Thanksgiving.”

Red Lobster – “Pumpkin Pie in a Jar”

This new addition to Red Lobster’s dessert menu features layers of pumpkin and cream cheese mousse with a graham cracker crust bottom and sugared pecan toppings. 

Sweet Rose Creamery – “Spiced Pumpkin” Ice Cream

Sweet Rose Creamery—which recently opened on Pico Boulevard—features rotating monthly ice cream flavors. Included in this month’s bunch is “Spiced Pumpkin."

Porto’s Bakery & Café – Various Pumpkin Options

The addicting cheese rolls—sweet pastry dough filled with cream cheese—are all the rage at Porto’s Bakery & Café, but the eatery’s individually portioned “Pumpkin Pies” have given customers something new to rave about. Other pumpkin treats currently featured at the bakery include “Pumpkin Cheesecakes” and “Pumpkin Cupcakes."

Magnolia Bakery – “Pumpkin Cupcake”

The renowned Magnolia Bakery features a “Pumpkin Cupcake” on Saturdays, which consists of maple cream cheese frosting and toasted pecans. 

McDonald’s – “Pumpkin Pie”

If you’re craving pumpkin on the go, McDonald’s “Pumpkin Pie”—made with a smooth pumpkin filling baked inside a flaky pastry crust and dusted with cinnamon sugar—offers a quick and simple solution.

DK’s Donuts – “Pumpkin Spice Double Decker O-Nut”

Santa Monica-based DK’s Donuts, known for its extensive variety of donuts and “O-Nuts” (the bakery’s take on Cronuts), is featuring a special “Pumpkin Spice Double Decker O-Nut” for the fall season. Only available for a limited time, this pastry features light, flaky pumpkin spice layers.  

Dunkin’ Donuts – Pumpkin Treats

To commemorate “National Pumpkin Day” on Oct. 26, Dunkin’ Donuts launched a variety of pumpkin-flavored beverages and bakery items. Among these seasonal goodies were the “Pumpkin Pie Donut,” which featured a buttercream-filled, pumpkin pie-flavored yeast shell, white icing and a graham cracker topping; “Pumpkin Donut and Munchkins Donut Hole Treats,” which were glazed pumpkin cake donuts in regular and mini sizes; and the “Pumpkin Muffin,” which was topped with white icing and sweet streusel crumbs. 

Kraft’s Jet-Puffed Marshmallows – “Pumpkin Spice Mallows”

Kraft’s pillowy marshmallows have a new look this fall with their “Pumpkin Spice” flavor. Still billowy, soft and perfect for S’mores making, these marshmallow simply include a whiff of the pumpkin scent.
