Oprah Winfrey and Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody are teaming up for a new HBO comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The untitled comedy will be based on Dr. Julie Holland’s upcoming book “Moody B*tches: The Truth About the Drugs You're Taking, the Sex You're Not Having, The Sleep You're Missing and What's Really Making You Crazy,” and the show plans to address each one accordingly.

Cody, who wrote the 2007 indie hit “Juno,” will write the pilot for the show and executive produce with Winfrey and her production company Harpo Films.

The company has had a long-term deal with HBO since 2007 to produce movies, scripted television, and documentaries.

Holland, whose book is still without a release date, will also have co-executive producer credit on the show.

While Cody has gotten significantly more attention for her films, she seems to be shifting focus to the small screen.

Most recently, she wrote a teen drama called “Prodigy” for Fox with Josh Schwartz (“The O.C.”) and Stephanie Savage (“Gossip Girl”). She also created Showtime’s “United States of Tara,” and has her own TBS talk show in the works.

Though little else is known about comedy, it has all the makings of HBO’s next hit show.
