The leaves are falling, and the temperature is dropping.  It is the perfect time to snuggle up to a warm fire and some hot cocoa.  But it's an even better time to snuggle into your favorite white winter staples.  This week, Los Angeles bloggers are wearing white as the go-to color for the coming season. Whether in a trench, sweater, dress, or top, white is where it's at!

Los Angeles fashion blogger Shea Marie of Peace, Love, Shea wore a series of white looks. The blonde beauty donned the hue on everything from a white wool coat to a white mesh dress.

While the blog shows almost head-to-toe white outfits, the key ingredient that Shea added in is the mixing of textures. The mixed patterns of the wool with the mesh, combined with shiny silver boots, makes the bright whites less neutral, and more of a statement.  

While white is very fresh and screams summer, there is something cozy about white that transcends the seasons, and demands that something white is part of your winter wardrobe.

Karla Deras, blogger at Karla's Closet, wore an all-white look this week as well.  Her outfit falls more on the side of street style. 

Only someone as chic as Deras could pull off an oversized crewneck sweatshirt. Deras layered this frumpy-chic piece over a white shirt dress. What really completes the outfit is the white strappy heels and thick-framed sunglasses.  

Similarly to what we see from Shea Marie, this look stands out because of the play on textures. For those who live in chillier locations, the same white sweater can be paired with all-white pants for a similar and more seasonal outfit.

Aimee Song, Los Angeles native and blogger at Song of Style,  wore three white looks this week entitled The White Trench, Blazer Dress, and White Shirt and Blue Jeans.  The white trench is perfect for the recently cooler temperatures. Song pairs one neutral with another, placing the white trench over an all-grey outfit.  The trench takes the otherwise casual look up a notch.

The all-white blazer dress is a sophisticated look for the workplace or for a night out. The dress is structured on top, while becoming a little more free-flowing on the bottom. Held together by one button, the piece mimics the look of a wrap dress.  The high-heeled boots give the dress a winter look.

Song wears the white blouse and jeans, a quintessential outfit, with strappy sandals. For those who live in colder climates, the outfit would look just as good with knee-high boots and a cozy scarf.  

So keep your favorite white looks around! White is uniquely able to transcend the seasons. With the right textures, you can use white to create a look that is cozy, chic, and perfect for the upcoming winter.
