LAPD officers showed up to suspected LAX shooter Paul Ciancia’s Sun Valley apartment as little as 45 minutes before he left to attack TSA agents, reports CNN

The officers acted on intelligence passed along by Allen Cummings, the police chief in Ciancia’s hometown of Pennsville, New Jersey. Cummings received a call from Ciancia’s father, who became worried after his son sent “alarming text (messages).”

Ciancia’s roommate told CNN that Ciancia had asked for a ride to the airport that morning so he could go home to visit his sick father.
