Lady Gaga is truly going to be “out of this world.”

The singer, known for being a little bit “out there,” will leave the planet in 2015

The “Bad Romance” star confirmed via Twitter that she will appear in space as part of the Zero G Colony music festival that will take place for all other humans in New Mexico. Specifically, fans will gather at the state’s Spaceport America.

Gaga’s performance will be broadcasted at dawn on the final, third day of the festival.

Don’t expect a whole setlist-- the singer will be shuttled all the way to space for just one song.

Before the spaceship with Gaga launches, she will have to undergo months of vocal training to be able to perform in a separate atmosphere. She will also take out a colossal life-insurance policy (for all her “little Monsters” in case disaster strikes).

Gaga is confirmed to perform in 2015, however, English singer Sarah Brightman is also trying to legitimately sing in space as well. She has been training with Russian cosmonauts for a voyage to the International space station where she wants to record a song.

A pop star performing from space will be the first of its kind. However, Justin Beiber, Katy Perry and Lance Bass have also signed up to ride on Virgin Galactic when it launches. Will they try and beat Gaga to the punch?

Other celebrities have also expressed interest to see the universe from space. They include Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Stephen Hawking among others. They will shell out a thrifty $200,000 for the 2 1/2-hour adventure.

Many stars would be content selling out the Staples Center or maybe headlining Coachella but no, Lady Gaga always has to take it to the next level.

Quite frankly, there could not be a more perfect singer to venture to the new frontier. We just hope extraterrestrials like meat
