Kobe Bryant Practices For First Time Since Achilles Injury

When Kobe Bryant tore his Achilles last year no one knew how long he would be out. Sometimes the recovery for an Achilles injury is just three months. Other times it can end a career, as it did for Charles Barkley. 

So when the then 34-year old guard tore his ACL, people suspected the worst, but also expected the notorious workhorse to do all he could to expedite the recovery process.

In this era of deer antler spray and weird German needle treatments, recovery times have become shorter than ever before.

And now 35-year old Kobe Bryant has returned to practice, just about seven months since suffering his potentially career-ending injury.

It’s unlikely that he will return before Thanksgiving, but Kobe should be back soon, which is a great sign for Laker fans who have watched their team struggle to a 5-7 start. 

Maybe he will lead the Lakers to another championship. Cue the video:
