Jennifer Aniston has always been known for her long signature locks, and she shocked everyone when she cut them off into a short bob.

The "Friends" star rocked the short cut done by her friend and stylist Chris McMillan (also known for giving Miley Cyrus her infamous haircut), and it turns out the dramatic change was due to a hair treatment disaster.

The actress told Elle U.K., "It wasn't for a role. My hair went through a phase - I did this thing called a Brazilian and my hair did not react really well to it."

Aniston's bob is definitely spot on with the trend of celebrities chopping off their famous manes, but she's a bit apprehensive about the haircut.

"The minute I cut my hair I want it back. Always. It's a guarantee. I'm trying really hard to love this one," she said.

It only makes sense that Aniston would have much rather chopped off her hair because she wanted to instead of doing damage-control from a bad treatment. However, as an actress who's had the same hairstyle for years, and known for the "Rachel" haircut, perhaps it's time for a change.

Jennifer Aniston has proven to be quite the classy woman, and she's been able to pull off a number of looks - including hairstyles. It isn't the first time she's shown off shorter hair, and it most likely won't be the last. This star is one who can look beautiful with hair at any length.

We've only seen Aniston with her short hair stepping out onto the street, but we're eager to see how it'll be styled once she hits the red carpet. The possibilities are endless.

Though she's unsure about her new length, we have no doubt that the "Horrible Bosses" star will wear it with confidence. After all, it is only hair; it'll grow back out to her signature look, and McMillan will be right by her side to make it look beautiful for the entire ride.
