Central Connecticut State University Lockdown Ends: 3 In Custody

Three people have been taken into custody resulting in the end of a campus lockdown of Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), according to CCSU Police Chief Chris Cervoni. 

The campus went under lockdown earlier on Monday due to an "unknown emergency."

At around 2:30 p.m. CCSU reported on Twitter that one person was in custody, according to New Britain Mayor Tim O'Brien.

The lockdown was lifted around 3:15 p.m. and things have began to return to normal. 

There is no further information on the emergency. No injuries have been reported.
