CBS announced Thursday that the Beatles will get a two-hour special for their 50 year anniversary on "The Ed Sullivan Show" as a Grammy tribute. The band won seven Grammy Awards during their career.

The special will be taped a day after the Grammys. CBS has not released any information on which artists will perform the band’s hit songs. The company only said “today’s top artists” will cover the Beatles’ songs that were performed on "The Ed Sullivan Show," as well as other popular song’s throughout the band’s career.

Throughout the special, footage of the Beatles' performances, interviews and the influence the music had on the generation will be presented by the hosts. Beatlemania will find it’s way back to fans (if it ever left... which it didn't.)

The special will be a 50-year flashback and will air Feb. 9, 2014 from 8-10 ET/PT on CBS.
