Social and political commentator Ann Coulter visited USC Sunday night. The event, "An Evening with the Lovely Ann Coulter" was held on the USC Campus by The College Republicans.

Although the organization was excited to host the event after publishing it on Facebook many students and community members expressed their concern and disdain for her weekend appearance.

Many users sited her anti-Muslim remarks and conservative views as reason enough to cancel the event, however, The College Republican President said last week that the event will go on as they believe in free speech. Students had the same reaction n 2007 when Coulter came to campus.

Sunday's event went on as scheduled and many attendees were excited for her presence.
