7 Things We're Most Excited About For 'Catching Fire'
The Costumes
"The Hunger Games" wowed us with the zany and colorful outfits that were seen in The Capital. The crazy hair and makeup only added to the spectacle. In "Catching Fire," Katniss becomes the symbol for a revolution, so we can only imagine the amazing costumes planned for her this movie.
More Liam Hemsworth
Since Liam Hemsworth's character, Gale, becomes Katniss Everdeen's love interest in the second book, we're sure to see more of him than we did in the last. Gale also takes more of a stand in "Catching Fire" rather than letting everything pass before his eyes.
Finnick Odair
In the novel, Finnick Odair is described as a gorgeous hunk and plays a key role for Katniss. A victor from District 4 where swimming is the norm, Sam Clafin will be showing off his dreamy features in the second film.
Gale-Katniss-Peeta Love Triangle
Now that Katniss and Peeta have announced to the world that they are madly in love for each other, the two victors have to pretend their entire romantic relationship. With Peeta in love with Katniss, who has feelings for Gale, there will definitely be some romantic drama throughout the movie.
The Arena
With each year of The Hunger Games, there comes a new arena for the competitors. The 75th Annual Hunger Games features a beach-like setting with lots of water and isolated sections. Seeing how all the competitors will use their surroundings will definitely be an interesting site.
Action Scenes
The Hunger Games itself is a dark, action-packed idea with kids fighting to the death. Since "Catching Fire" involves victors, the action will be even more exciting and dramatic than before.
The Revolution
The first movie left us with Katniss defying the rules of the Games, leading to many of the Districts to start rebelling against authority. "Catching Fire" is all about trying to stop rebellions from happening. With this in mind behind the Games, "Catching Fire" will certainly be a movie to be anxious about.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters November 22, and we cannot wait to see it. Watch the trailer here.
