USC Students Capture Star Wars Battle On Instagram

It was lunch and a show for USC students at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center.

Jedi and Sith lords blocked the popular lunchtime venue for an epic, Halloween-inspired lightsaber battle captured on students' smartphones. Complete with John Williams' soundtrack, the choreographed (kind of?) fight routine took the campus by surprise and quickly made the rounds on Twitter.

It kind of falls apart near the end (the Jedis could use a better tailor), but it's still pretty impressive for an impromptu holiday performance nevertheless.

Update: According to some fine detective work on the part of our readers, this may have been the work of Tau Kappa Epsilon pledges promoting a Halloween party. If so - well done, guys. And a Happy Halloween from our newsroom.

May the Force be with you.
