This month, artists get ambitious on their new records as they explore new musical styles and genres.

Pop-punk singer Avril Lavigne delves into EDM and industrial metal while Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones team up to make a (very unexpected) country music cover record.

The month of November will also features some of this year's most anticipated albums with new releases from the likes of Eminem, Lady Gaga, and One Direction.

Check out this month's biggest releases below!

November 5

"The Marshall Mathers LP 2," Eminem

Releasing his eighth studio album "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," Eminem is setting the bar high by marketing his latest record as a continuation of the incredibly successful "The Marshall Mathers LP" (2000).

With guest artists like Skylar Grey, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and fun.'s Nate Ruess, it's no surprise that "MMLP2" has been voted one of the most anticipated albums of 2013 by MTV and XXL!

Sampling the Beastie Boys, the album's first single "Berzerk" brings back the sounds of old school hip-hop. Eminem also cements his status as one of the best rappers around with "Rap God"... He raps a whopping 97 words in 15 seconds - that's 6.5 words per second!

"Loved Me Back to Life," Celine Dion

Celine Dion is putting out her first English-language studio album since "Taking Chances" in 2007. Entitled "Loved Me Back to Life," the album will feature songs from the singer's popular Las Vegas show "Celine", including a duet with Stevie Wonder, which is also a cover of his 1985 hit "Overjoyed". R&B singer Ne-Yo will also be featured on the song "Incredible," making this his second time working with Dion.

The deluxe version of the album also features 2 additional songs from Dion's Las Vegas Show, "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?" and "Lullaby (Goodnight, My Angel)". Stream the entire album here.

"Avril Lavigne," Avril Lavigne

Fellow Canadian singer Avril Lavigne will also be releasing her self-titled fifth studio album on November 5. After taking a more serious approach to her last record "Goodbye Lullaby" (2011), Lavigne stated early on that this new album would be "pop and more fun again".

"Here's to Never Growing Up", the record's successful first single, hit #1 in 22 countries and broke the top 10 in 44.

Lavigne's husband and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger co-wrote many of the songs on the album and is featured on the piano ballad "Let Me Go".

This record also sees the singer exploring new ground stylistically. The track "Hello Kitty" is heavily influenced by EDM and - in an unexpected collab - Marilyn Manson screams and growls his way through the raunchy, rock 'n roll tune "Bad Girl". Stream the entire album on iTunes here.

Other Albums Coming Out Today:

November 11

"Artpop," Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is releasing her highly anticipated third studio effort "Artpop," which is a definite stylistic change from "Born This Way" (2011). Gaga's lead single "Applause" peaked at #4 on Billboard's Hot 100 while her second single, the R. Kelly duet "Do What U Want", has hit #1 on iTunes in 64 countries!

November 19

"The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2," Five Finger Death Punch

Five Finger Death Punch is releasing their fifth studio record "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2". This album is their second release this year with Volume 1 having come out in July.

Calling these 2 albums "the best material this band has ever created," guitarist Zoltan Bathory said, "We had this massive amount of music that's very dear to us ... [T]here was no way to decide which songs to leave off the album. So we made the decision to release them all."

The album will also feature a cover of "The House of the Rising Sun", a traditional folk song that was popularized by The Animals in 1964.

November 25

"Midnight Memories," One Direction

Get ready for screaming teenage girls everywhere because One Direction is releasing their third studio album "Midnight Memories", which Louis Tomlinson has described as "rockier and edgier".

The album's lead single "Best Song Ever" has definitely lived up to its title with its music video breaking VEVO's most-viewed video record with 10.9 million views, a title that was previously held by Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" (although Cyrus quickly took it back with the music video for "Wrecking Ball").

"Foreverly," Billie Joe + Norah

Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and singer Norah Jones have teamed up to release "Foreverly", an album of covers from the Everly Brothers' 1958 record "Songs Our Daddy Taught Us".

Forming an unlikely pair, this country record is definitely a far cry from Armstrong's usual punk rock style and Jones' indie jazz tunes, but Armstrong certainly doesn't mind. When speaking to Stereogum about the new project, the Green Day frontman said, "I like doing different things - it's fun, it makes life more interesting." The duo just released their first single entitled "Long Time Gone".

Sometime This Month...

"A Better Tomorrow," Wu-Tang Clan

Wu-Tang Clan is releasing their sixth studio album "A Better Tomorrow". In a special treat for longtime fans, the record will feature previously unreleased verses from the late Wu-Tang rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard, who passed away in 2004.

While a specific date has yet to be announced, the hip-hop group has already released their first promotional single "Family Reunion".
