Even though "National Taco Day" was officially on Oct. 4, it's never too late to celebrate the popular snack/meal/everything in between.

The world of tacos is ever-expanding. We get new additions to the taco family almost everyday, and each member is usually weirder than the previous one. Regardless, we appreciate every morsel of taco, whether cricket-flavored or waffle-shaped. 

Here's a list of the best (possibely also the weirdest) tacos you can find in L.A.

1. Taco Soup

Everything you get in a regular taco, but in the form of soup. With ground beef, chili beans, corn and tomatoes, this makes for a healthy and utterly fulfilling meal. 2. Peanut-butter Carnitas Taco

This taco's exactly what it sounds like. Pork and peanut-butter together in a taco! It'll be interesting to taste how the makers of this taco have reconciled the different texture and tastes of pork and peanut-butter. Feeling experimental? Go to the Flying Pig Cafe in L.A. to try this gem out!

3. Fiery Doritos Locos Taco

This junk-food-fast-food hybrid is Taco Bell's creation. Unlike the other tacos on this list, this one is special because of the shell, and not the ingredients inside it. Fashioning a taco on a crowd-pleasing junk-food staple might be gimmicky, but it's proving to be super successful for Taco Bell.  Being easy on the tastebuds as well as the wallet, this spicy delight is perfect for college students. 

4. Babylon Tacos

Filled with crispy cucumbers and warm chicken breast, this taco's hot chipotle cream sauce adds the real kicker. You can find this pile of deliciousness at the Global Soul Food Truck. 

5. Mac and Cheese Taco

If you like mac and cheese, tacos, and a little experimenting, this savory combo is bound to satisfy you. You can pretty much fuse anything with a taco shell and create your own signature taco, so join the fun, be daring, and spread the taco love!
