It was only a matter of time before we would hear another song from Taylor Swift.

The 23-year-old country pop singer has been working hard on her fifth studio album, and she gave us an idea of what to expect when she released the song at midnight on Monday.

The song, "Sweeter Than Fiction," is set to play during the closing credits of "One Chance," a film about "Britain's Got Talent" winner Paul Potts. The song was also written by Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff.

"One Chance" tells the story of Potts, who was working as a store clerk before he went on to win "Britain's Got Talent" as an opera-singing sensation in 2007.

T. Swift was inspired to write a song after seeing an early screening of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival. "I didn't know the story of Paul Potts. He's working a cellphone store and then ended up winning 'Britain's Got Talent'," the singer told E! News.

"One Chance" is directed by David Frankel, and stars James Corden, Julie Walters, and many other stars. It goes to theaters in the U.K. on October 25.

The song is upbeat, light, and bouncy, taking inspiration from '80s pop songs. With the style of this song, it's hard to think that Swift has any country roots at all.

Nonetheless, the singer stays true to her girly, young, and inspiring style in her latest song. Be sure to expect nothing less from her next album.

Take a listen to Taylor's latest song, and tell us what you think!
