Taliban Criticizes U.S. Government For Shutdown

NBC's Saturday Night Live already mocked the ongoing U.S. Government shutdown by recreating Miley Cyrus' hit song "We Can't Stop".  Foreign countries have made sure their opinions are heard on the shutdown. Now, you can add the Taliban to the list.

The Taliban recently wrote on its website under its Weekly Analysis category, criticizing Congress for its role during the shutdown and listing the effects on Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Instead of sucking the blood of their own people...this money should be utilized for the sake of peace," they said.

The Taliban believes that the U.S. isn't spending their their money effectively and instead wasting it on killing and torturing the Afghans. In addition, the group called the government out for paralyzing governmental institions. They listed that national parks and the Statue of Liberty are closed as a result of the shutdown.

"The American people should realize that their politicians play with their destinies as well as the destinies of other oppressed nations for the sake of their personal vested interests," the Taliban said
