Candy has always been associated with Halloween, but instead of reaching for another bag of Twizzlers, head down to one of these Los Angeles locations for some decadent Halloween desserts.

SusieCakes Bakery

SusieCakes, the self-proclaimed All-American bakery, offers "home-style dessert favorites baked entirely from scratch." This time of year, they make their goodies a little more "Spooktacular" for the season. Sugar cookies shaped like bats and ghosts, and pumpkin spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are sure to have your mouth watering. Stroll down to one of their Southern California locations in Brentwood, Calabasas, Newport Beach or Manhattan Beach to scoop up these scrumptious treats before time runs out.

B Sweet Catering

B Sweet Catering promises "to bring back the taste of homemade dessert like Grandma used to make." Contact them to order delicious Halloween-themed cupcakes with vampire, mummy and ghost designs. They also serve pumpkin-flavored treats, including pumpkin bread pudding, pumpkin rolls and classic pumpkin pie. Yum!

The Village Bakery and Cafe

The Village Bakery and Cafe is back with their annual "13 Days of Halloween” celebration. The event began on Oct. 19 and will continue until Halloween. Each day, the bakery is serving up a different, delicious holiday-inspired treat. From spider web cupcakes to brownie bats, you will want to visit everyday to get your hands on these tasty treats.

Yummy Cupcakes

Yummy Cupcakes has been hosting their "Spooktober" event all month. For 31 days, they have been serving various "monstrous cupcakes." Keeping in the spirit of the holiday, the flavors include caramel apple, pepper and salty sweet, blood orange and trick or treat. Plus, each cupcake is decorated with festive toppings, like devil horns and eyeballs. With only 11 days until Halloween and so many varieties to choose from, hurry down to the one of the locations in Burbank, Hollywood or Santa Monica to get your fix.

L.A. Market

Make your way down to L.A. Market at L.A. Live to try the infamous "Junk Food Platter." For Halloween, they have tricked it out with frightening fare, including orange coconut snowballs, bat and mummy cake pops, pumpkin-shaped Rice Krispies treats, frosted brownies with worms and a caramel corn parfait. These delectable treats are available from Oct. 20 through Halloween. Don't miss out!
