Fast food has long been known to be a source of accessible food that we can just pick up and eat without the need for forks, knives and spoons.

Fast food companies have long been yearning to create new and exciting ways for us to enjoy what is most people's guilty pleasures in life. With the release of KFC's new Go Cup, which is a cup of potato wedges and your choice of chicken which can fit into a cupholder, here are seven creative fast food ideas that have been introduced:

1. Double Down Sandwich - KFC: We start off with another great creation of KFC that has kept our appetites at bay. Who would have guessed that using chicken patties as bun substitutes with bacon between them would turn out to be such a great invention? This is especially great for people who are on low carb diets as the absence of bread significantly reduces the carb amount.

2. French Fry Holders - McDonald's Japan: KFC was not the first company to introduce car friendly fast food. McDonald's Japan had introduced in April of this year, french fry holders that could fit in cup holders and bicycle bottle holders in order for their world famous fries to be enjoyed, literally, anywhere.

3. Double Roll Pizza - Pizza Hut Japan: Japan proves once again that it is at the top of the innovation food chain. Back in 2007, the Japanese branch of Pizza Hut released a pizza pie containing bacon wrapped sausages across the crust, and mini hamburger patties on top of soy beans, mushrooms, paprika, corn, garlic chips, pepperoni and green peppers. The cheese consists of cheddar, parmigiana, and of course, mozzarella. It even comes with ketchup and surprisingly, maple syrup for condiments!

4. Hands-Free Whopper - Burger King Puerto Rico: To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Burger King in Puerto Rico gave away 50 hands-free whopper holders to the 50 members of their loyalty program with the highest scores. These are exactly what they sound like: A white plastic object is around your neck and the burger is literally right in front of your face. You can't get more convenient than this!

5. Mighty Wings - McDonald's: It appears like McDonald's has finally done away with their "no bones on animals" policy. The release of the Mighty Wings expands the world's biggest fast food company's repertoire once again. They come in either drumsticks or wings and are lightly breaded with cayenne and chili pepper seasoning.

6. Doritos Locos Tacos - Taco Bell: If you haven't eaten this yet, you definitely know about it. Taco Bell partnered up with Doritos to release their taco shells in nacho cheese and cool ranch flavor, giving the taco eating experience that extra pizazz.

7. Big Mac - McDonald's: Since its inception in 1967, the Big Mac changed the fast food game forever and now it's an American icon. No further explanation is necessary.
