The California Highway Patrol's pursuit of a reckless driving suspect ended with an arrest on the University of Southern California's University Park Campus.

@LAScanner Tweeted ".@CHPsouthern pursuit leads to trail of broken metal & shattered windows along Venice Bl. in Palms & Culver City." and KCAL 9 also reported that the pursuit started in Culver City.

The suspect made his way to the Exposition Park area where the CHP performed a pit maneuver. KCAL 9 reported that a shot was fired at this time, and the suspect escaped the attempted capture. Brittney Hopper, a KCAL 9 reporter on the ground, reported that a Highway Patrol officer in the pursuit said no shots were fired. She did report that the suspect had blood on his shirt.
