Obama Will Pursue Immigration Reform

While the United States has got the entire world worried about defaulting on our debts, Obama is already thinking about what comes after.

At the top of his agenda, The Hill reports, is immigration reform.

"Once that's done, you know, the day after," the President told an affiliate with Univision Los Angeles, referring to the shutdown, "I'm going to be pushing to say, call a vote on immigration reform."

Obama also reaffirmed how important he finds immigration reform and stated that the only thing holding the immigration bill back was GOP Representative John Boehner refusing to bring it to the floor.
