Sorry ladies, but your men will be sneaking away to a new man cave starting Nov. 9th. A new male nail salon called Hammer & Nails is opening up on Melrose next weekend, and it promises to be the ultimate haven for men.

This upcoming establishment is the brainchild of Founder Michael Elliot. He created the nail shop after feeling "discomfort" when he went to a female nail salon. Apparently, the TV showing "babbling brooks and blossoming tulips" made him feel unwelcome, so he had a vision for a new type of salon.

"What if a nail salon existed for men? What if men could get pampered in an environment suited to their tastes? What if men could receive a manicure while watching sports and sipping a refreshing beverage in a king-size leather chair?" the website asks.

Well now it's all possible with Hammer & Nails, and the unique salon is debuting exclusively in Los Angeles.

Hammer & Nails offers a spa-quality experience, which comes with more manly incentives. The salon features hand, foot and shoulder massages, personal flat-screen TVs, premium sports channels and king-size leather chairs for clients.

The rugged look of the salon leaves no question that it is a place for men. The nail shop's wall decor gives it a barber shop feel with its framed hammers, vintage punching bag, and front bumper of a Chevy truck.

The Hammer & Nails style isn't just for show though; the salon also advertises cleanliness. The leather chairs are not whirlpool spa chairs for a reason. Besides the overall comfort of having a king-sized chair, by detaching the chairs from the water basins, the shop is able to use plastic liners that are fit to the bowls. After every pedicure, the liners are thrown out, eliminating the chance of housing bacteria in a basin that is not properly cleaned.

The salon doesn't clean its nail tools either, because the beauticians use a disposable tool set for every client. This takes away the risk of contracting an infection from tools that are improperly sterilized after use. While not very eco-friendly, everything in this nail shop is definitely clean.

Best of all, the premium experience found at Hammer & Nails is not too expensive. The salon offers "MANicure" services ranging from $25-$50, depending on length of massage and repair treatments. For the same reasons, pedicure services range from $40-$60. All services come with the advertised amenities.

The chic new salon is now booking appointments, so be sure to snag a spot before it's too late!
