YouTube is hosting its first music awards show, making a turn for the glamorous life.

The video website has scheduled Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire and Eminem to headline for the big event on November 3rd.

The headliners for the awards show only bring a small idea of what the rest of the show will turn out to be like. They will definitely make the show all the more interesting with their range of music tastes.

Spike Jonze, director of "Where the Wild Things Are," "Adaptation," "Being John Malkovich," and a number of music videos has also agreed to be the award show's creative director. Actor Jason Schwartzman will host the show.

The YouTube Music Awards will present winners for six award categories, based entirely from viewer votes. "We're trying to create live videos during the award shows so that the experience becomes more about creating than presenting," said YouTube's vice president of marketing, Danielle Tiedt. Jonze has also expressed doing more than just performances and doing live collaborations.

"Our main goal is to not just do another award show. We wanted to do something special," Tiedt said.
