What are the top issues facing Los Angeles, and why?

I would believe following through with what they’re stating that they’re planning to do. Making sure that the money is split properly and not one-sided. I think we need a lot of support on just the community to help people feel feel supported. I think people are just left in the dark and not really understanding the truth of anything.

What should Mayor Garcetti do to address your top priorities?

So far, he’s going and speaking with the right people. He’s putting his foot down on the things that he doesn’t feel are right. It’s not really what he needs to do, I think it’s a group effort to get L.A. to succeed the way it should and the fact that he’s the man in front, he just needs to keep aiming in the right direction and asking the right people for support.

Did you vote in the May election? Who did you support?

Garcetti.

How do you think he’ll go about with these issues?

So far it seems like he’s stepping up to the problem itself, which is what we want and expect. But overall it’s just that he’s doing what’s right for the people and not just for his political partners.
