22 years of marriage later, the couple decided to announce yesterday their separation of a year. In the latest episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” it was already revealed that they were living in separate houses. However, the family always maintained there were no problems between Kris and Bruce.  

The couple has two children (Kendall and Kylie) together.  

Kris was previously wed to the late lawyer Robert Kardashian and had four children with him-- Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob. Bruce was married twice before to Chrystie Crownover and Linda Thompson. He had two sons with each wife (one of which being Brody Jenner).  

Keep in mind-- the couple is only separated, not divorced. 

Due to the lowest “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” ratings in years, is this just another publicity stunt to attain more viewers?  

It hasn’t even been 24-hours since the separation announced and Kris already did an exclusive interview with US Weekly. Also, the one thing this family loves just as much as fame is money, and there was no prenup.

You can almost certainly bet there will be not only a separation episode, but also a reunion/vow renewal “E! special.” Most likely, the network will sprinkle an episode or two in there about how Kris is dating a younger man, Bruce going on dates, etc. 

With a show like “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the family and network will do whatever it takes to keep the show on-air.

The parents of America’s favorite celebrity have been so on-and-off in the past few years, no one can keep up. Apparently, they've been mending their achy breaky relationship so much they haven’t been watching their daughter.

The pop star and her husband have been separated before, but now they have a daughter and everything appears to be smooth sailing. 

3. NeNe and Gregg Leakes 

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and her husband separated on “reality” t.v., so of course it’s only natural that they have a marriage renewal special series on Bravo as well, right? 

4. Vanessa and Kobe Bryant

Vanessa didn’t file for divorce until 2011 (some eight years overdue). However, the couple announced in January they had “reconciled.” That is short for Kobe saying “We don’t have a prenup.”
