A trio of brothers we all know and love (or for some, love to hate) might be breaking up.

The Jonas Brothers, consisting of Kevin, 25, Joe, 24, and Nick, 21, reportedly had an argument over the weekend, ending with the decision to cancel all 19 of their upcoming tour dates. The tour was supposed to kick off Friday in Pennsylvania.

“There is a deep rift within the band," Jesse Derris, a rep for the band, told People. "There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”

Prior to this year, the band had not released any music together since their 4th album, “Lines Vines and Trying Times,” came out in 2009. During their hiatus from the band, Joe and Nick both pursued solo music and acting careers, while Kevin settled into married life and filmed the E! reality show, “Married to Jonas,” with his wife, Danielle.

The decision to cancel the tour comes as a bit of a surprise as the band seemed to be getting their edge back. They finished their summer tour in August and the dates for fall tour were announced later, as a result of the buzz surrounding the summer shows.

They have also released two singles (“Pom Poms” and “First Time”) from their 5th album, “V.” The album was supposed to be released later this year, but their rep said that the band’s future “remains to be seen.”

While some might think that the cancellation has to do with Kevin and his wife, Danielle, expecting their first child, a source close to the band told People that the rift is entirely about “creative differences.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kevin has also made the decision to postpone filming the third season of “Married to Jonas.” This decision was made, in part, as a result of the band’s disagreements.

For now, all projects surrounding the trio are indefinitely postponed while they sort out what a source close to them described as an “existential question.”
