Since their last performance at HARD Summer Music Festival, Disclosure has returned to California to continue embarking on their “Settle” tour.

Fans gathered yesterday night to see Disclosure’s sold out show at The Fox Theater Pomona.

DJ T. Williams was up first, ready to warm the crowd up until Disclosure’s performance. What started off as an empty theater was soon packed as the night progressed.

T. Williams, short for Tefsa Williams, is a London native who first emerged onto the music scene in 2010. High on stage with his Pioneer equipment, T. Williams played an assortment of house and funky electronic beats.

The deep rumbling of his bass sounds with the mixture of dubstep aggressively shook the theater. You could hear the speakers vibrating and feel the hardwood floor rumbling, which got the crowd raising their arms and drinks in the air.

However, as the hour and a half long set continued, the crowd became restless during what seemed like a repetitive sequence of slow transitions and similar beats. The cloudy theatrical fog increasingly filled the room, building more anticipation and leaving the fans impatient for Disclosure’s arrival.

At approximately 10:15pm, fans started jumping and screaming as Disclosure finally appeared on stage.

Guy and Howard Lawrence are the masterminds behind the success of Disclosure. Many are surprised to find out that the the brothers are only 22 and 19, respectively.

Debut album "Settle" made its way to #1 on the UK Album Charts and received much attention here in the US. The electronic music duo combines a whole spectrum of sounds – melodic tunes, sweet vocals, jazzy sounds, and deep house. To no one’s surprise, they’ve already played at major music festivals such as Coachella and Sasquatch.

With fans roaring in the back, Howard took his place on the left and Guy on the right. Starting off the show with “F For You,” the brothers bobbed their heads in unison as the entire crowd was dancing and chanting “because I played the fool for you.”

Fans definitely got their money's worth: not only did they get a live performance from Disclosure, but they were also blinded by visuals and an electrical light show that beamed into their eyes. The lights were dancing with the beats, switching directions and colors as the bass thumped throughout the room.

During their hour and a half set, the duo continued to showcase their individual musical talents. Howard multitasked in going from controlling sounds on his computer to proving to us that he’s mastered the electronic drums. Guy also showed off his skills by going back and forth from his keyboard, DJ set, and bass guitar.

It was obvious that the vocal songs were the most popular, as fans were singing along to songs like “You & Me,” “Boiling,” “Voices,” and “White Noise.” Disclosure even sang along with the audience into their microphones during “Confess To Me.”

An hour into their set, fans sensed the end of the show as Disclosure thanked the fans and walked off stage. After a few minutes passed, which felt like hours, the infamous Disclosure face lit up the screen, and fans shrieked and whistled as the brothers walked back onto stage.

Teasing the audience, the duo started part two of their show with “Help Me Lose My Mind.” The still Disclosure face soon started lip syncing to the song, and fans sang louder and raised their camera phones in the air.

As soon as fans heard the familiar lyrics “never,” it was obvious that Disclosure saved their best song, “Latch,” for last. No one was able to contain their excitement since they waited for this song all night, but as the brothers announced, “This song is called “Latch,” there was a never-ending scream of whoops and arms flailing in the air.

With “Latch” ending the night perfectly, fans blasted Disclosure songs in their cars, leaving the parking lot wanting more.

Disclosure is set to play two more sold out shows at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles this upcoming Thursday and Friday.
